YORINA

YORINA Terms and Conditions

Effective date: July 13, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of:

  • yorina.app
  • The YORINA mobile application
  • YORINA accounts
  • YORINA family-care features
  • Related websites, software, communications, and services

The services are provided by YORINA TECHNOLOGIES, operating as YORINA (“YORINA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using YORINA, you agree to these Terms.

Do not use YORINA if you do not agree to them.

1. About YORINA

YORINA is a family-care coordination platform intended to help parents, guardians, and approved caregivers:

  • Record family-care updates
  • Maintain a shared timeline
  • Coordinate caregiver responsibility
  • Prepare care handovers
  • Use Rest Mode
  • Organise professional instructions
  • Create reminders and summaries
  • Preserve selected family memories

YORINA is intended to support family coordination. It does not replace the judgment, supervision, or responsibility of parents, guardians, caregivers, or qualified professionals.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create a YORINA account.

Unless we expressly introduce an age-appropriate service, you must be at least 18 years old to create or control a YORINA household.

By creating or managing a child profile, you confirm that you are:

  • The child’s parent
  • The child’s legal guardian
  • Or otherwise properly authorised to manage the relevant information

You must not create a child profile or invite a caregiver where you lack appropriate authority.

3. Adult-Directed Service

YORINA’s initial service is designed for adults.

Children must not independently create accounts, submit information, or use YORINA without a specifically authorised and age-appropriate arrangement.

If you become aware that a child is using YORINA independently or without appropriate authorisation, contact us.

4. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate and current account information.

You are responsible for:

  • Protecting your login credentials
  • Protecting your device
  • Maintaining accurate contact information
  • Reviewing account activity
  • Revoking devices or caregivers when access is no longer appropriate
  • Informing us promptly of suspected unauthorised access

You must not:

  • Share credentials with an unauthorised person
  • Impersonate another person
  • Create an account using false authority
  • Circumvent security measures
  • Allow another person to use your account as their own

5. Family Households

A YORINA household may contain:

  • One or more children
  • Parents or guardians
  • Relatives
  • Nannies
  • Temporary caregivers
  • Other approved adults

The household creator may initially receive Primary Guardian permissions.

Household permissions may be changed by authorised users, subject to security and legal restrictions.

YORINA does not determine legal custody, guardianship, or parental rights.

A YORINA permission setting does not create legal authority that does not otherwise exist.

6. Caregiver Invitations and Permissions

Authorised guardians may invite caregivers and assign permissions.

The inviting user is responsible for:

  • Selecting the appropriate caregiver
  • Providing correct contact information
  • Selecting the appropriate child
  • Reviewing the permission scope
  • Limiting access duration where relevant
  • Revoking access when no longer required

Caregiver permissions may control:

  • Which child is visible
  • Which records may be viewed
  • Which actions may be performed
  • Whether handovers may be accepted
  • When access begins
  • When access expires

YORINA may restrict or block access where necessary to protect users, children, or the service.

7. Caregiver Responsibility and Handovers

YORINA Relay may help users request, accept, and record caregiver handovers.

Responsibility is not transferred merely because a request was sent.

Unless the application clearly confirms otherwise:

  • The existing caregiver remains responsible until the receiving caregiver explicitly accepts.
  • A failed or undelivered notification does not transfer responsibility.
  • YORINA does not physically verify that a caregiver is present, awake, capable, or supervising the child.
  • Users remain responsible for confirming real-world care arrangements.

The “I’m Taking Over” function is a coordination record. It does not replace direct human judgment or communication where safety requires it.

8. Rest Mode

Rest Mode may reduce or reroute selected notifications after a handover.

You acknowledge that:

  • Rest Mode does not guarantee uninterrupted rest.
  • Notifications may be delayed, blocked, or fail because of connectivity, device settings, provider outages, or technical errors.
  • Users must maintain suitable real-world communication arrangements.
  • Emergency responsibility remains with the relevant human caregivers.
  • YORINA does not monitor the child or household continuously.

Never rely solely on Rest Mode or application notifications for urgent supervision or emergency communication.

9. User Content

“User Content” includes information submitted to YORINA, such as:

  • Care records
  • Voice updates
  • Text
  • Documents
  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Family memories
  • Professional instructions
  • Caregiver notes

You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant YORINA a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, organise, transmit, display, and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the requested service
  • Operate approved family sharing
  • Maintain security
  • Comply with law
  • Enforce these Terms

You confirm that:

  • You have the right to provide the content.
  • Your content does not unlawfully violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other rights.
  • You will not upload content for an unlawful or harmful purpose.
  • You will use particular care when uploading information about children or other adults.

10. Artificial Intelligence

YORINA may use artificial intelligence to interpret, organise, summarise, retrieve, or suggest actions based on authorised information.

Artificial intelligence can misunderstand input or produce incorrect output.

You agree to review sensitive outputs, including:

  • Medication records
  • Medical instructions
  • Dates and times
  • Caregiver permissions
  • Child selection
  • Handover details
  • Emergency information
  • Document extraction

YORINA may require confirmation before saving or acting on sensitive information.

You must not rely on an AI output as confirmed merely because it appears fluent or confident.

11. No Medical Advice

YORINA is not a healthcare provider, hospital, doctor, nurse, pharmacist, therapist, or emergency service.

The service does not provide:

  • Diagnosis
  • Medical treatment
  • Medication prescriptions
  • Medication dosing
  • Clinical monitoring
  • Emergency assessment
  • A guarantee of safety
  • A substitute for qualified professional care

Information presented by YORINA may include:

  • Records entered by users
  • Confirmed professional instructions uploaded by users
  • General organisational support
  • AI-generated summaries

Users must verify important information against its original professional source.

Never delay or avoid professional or emergency assistance because of information provided by YORINA.

In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

12. Professional Instructions

YORINA may store or organise instructions from healthcare or other professionals.

You are responsible for:

  • Uploading the correct document
  • Reviewing extracted information
  • Confirming its accuracy
  • Maintaining current instructions
  • Identifying expired or replaced instructions
  • Contacting the relevant professional when instructions conflict or are unclear

An AI summary does not replace the original instruction.

YORINA may refuse to process or activate unclear medication or medical information.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not use YORINA to:

  • Harm, exploit, abuse, or endanger a child
  • Harass, threaten, or control another person
  • Conduct hidden surveillance
  • Track a person without lawful authority
  • Falsify care records
  • Impersonate a guardian or caregiver
  • Circumvent household permissions
  • Access another family’s information
  • Upload unlawful or abusive content
  • Distribute malware
  • Attack or interfere with the service
  • Reverse engineer protected elements except where legally permitted
  • Scrape or extract data without permission
  • Train external AI systems using YORINA content without authority
  • Use the service for employment, insurance, credit, or discriminatory decisions
  • Use family information for unauthorised advertising
  • Violate applicable law

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict or terminate access.

14. Prohibited Surveillance and Coercive Use

YORINA must not be used to secretly monitor, intimidate, control, or retaliate against:

  • A spouse
  • A former partner
  • A caregiver
  • A child
  • A household member
  • Any other person

You must not use account access, schedules, notifications, records, or device information for coercive control.

YORINA may suspend accounts, revoke access, preserve records, or take other appropriate action when misuse is suspected, subject to applicable law.

15. Availability and Technical Limitations

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

YORINA may be affected by:

  • Internet failure
  • Mobile network failure
  • Device settings
  • Battery loss
  • Third-party service outages
  • Cloud-provider outages
  • Notification delays
  • Maintenance
  • Security incidents
  • Software defects
  • Artificial-intelligence errors

A notification marked as sent is not necessarily proof that another person received, read, or acted upon it unless YORINA explicitly confirms acceptance.

Users must maintain alternative arrangements for urgent communication and child supervision.

16. Offline Use

Certain features may be available offline.

Offline information may not be visible to other caregivers until synchronisation completes.

You acknowledge that:

  • Responsibility changes may remain unconfirmed while offline.
  • Duplicate or conflicting records may occur.
  • Emergency communication cannot be guaranteed.
  • Users must verify that important updates have synchronised.

17. Intellectual Property

YORINA and its licensors own the service and its associated:

  • Software
  • Design
  • Branding
  • Logos
  • Text
  • User interface
  • Databases
  • Workflows
  • Documentation
  • Proprietary technology

These Terms do not transfer ownership of YORINA intellectual property to you.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use YORINA for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit YORINA except as expressly permitted.

18. Feedback

You may provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions.

You grant us permission to use voluntarily provided feedback to develop and improve YORINA without payment or obligation, provided that we do not publicly identify you without permission.

This provision does not transfer ownership of your private family content.

19. Subscriptions and Payments

When subscriptions become available, YORINA may offer monthly, annual, trial, promotional, or gifted plans.

Prices and included features will be displayed before purchase.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise the relevant payment provider to charge the stated amount, taxes, and renewal fees.

Subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled.

The applicable store or payment-provider terms may govern:

  • Payment processing
  • Renewal
  • Cancellation timing
  • Refunds
  • Billing disputes

YORINA pricing is generally intended to apply per household rather than per individual caregiver, subject to the selected plan.

20. Free Trials

A free trial may convert automatically into a paid subscription if this is clearly disclosed before the trial begins.

You may cancel through the relevant application store or billing settings.

Trials may be limited to one per household, account, payment method, or device.

We may refuse or end a trial where there is evidence of abuse.

21. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription through the applicable billing provider or YORINA account controls.

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless applicable law or store rules provide otherwise.

Cancelling a subscription does not necessarily delete your account or family records.

Separate deletion controls may be available.

We will not intentionally hide cancellation or make it unnecessarily difficult.

22. Refunds

Refund eligibility may depend on:

  • The payment provider
  • Application-store rules
  • Applicable consumer law
  • The reason for the request

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

23. Changes to Features and Prices

We may modify:

  • Features
  • Plans
  • Limits
  • Prices
  • Supported devices
  • Integrations

We will provide appropriate notice of material subscription changes where required.

Price changes generally apply to a future billing period and will not retroactively alter amounts already paid.

24. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information and forms part of your use of YORINA.

By using YORINA, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Where consent is legally required, acknowledgement alone will not replace the required consent.

25. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using YORINA at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Security risk
  • Fraud
  • Unlawful activity
  • Child-safety concerns
  • Unauthorised access
  • Non-payment
  • Harm to users or the service
  • Legal requirements

Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect a child, person, account, or system.

26. Data After Termination

After termination or account deletion:

  • Access may end immediately.
  • Certain records may remain temporarily during a recovery period.
  • Information may remain in protected backups for a limited period.
  • Certain records may be retained where legally required.
  • Users may have an opportunity to export information before deletion.

We will not retain personal information indefinitely without a defined purpose.

27. Third-Party Services

YORINA may integrate with third-party services such as:

  • Apple
  • Google
  • Payment providers
  • Cloud platforms
  • Artificial-intelligence services
  • Email or notification services
  • Calendar services

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for an independent third party’s acts, omissions, availability, or content outside our control.

28. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YORINA is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will always be uninterrupted.
  • Every AI interpretation will be accurate.
  • Every notification will be delivered.
  • Every caregiver will respond.
  • The service will prevent errors, missed care, injury, illness, or emergencies.
  • Every uploaded instruction will remain current.
  • The service will meet every family’s requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

29. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YORINA and its directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

This may include loss arising from:

  • Missed notifications
  • Incorrect user entries
  • Artificial-intelligence errors
  • Caregiver conduct
  • Connectivity failure
  • Unauthorised credential sharing
  • Reliance on outdated instructions
  • Third-party services

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death, or personal injury.

The final liability structure must be adapted to the law governing the entity and launch markets.

30. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for loss, claims, or expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of YORINA
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of another person’s rights
  • Your provision of content without authority
  • Your misuse of caregiver permissions

This provision does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as YORINA develops.

We will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where legally permitted.

Where explicit acceptance is required, we will request it.

32. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia (specifically, the Harju County Court in Tallinn)., without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in the user’s country.

Harju County Court in Tallinn, will have jurisdiction, except where applicable law allows or requires a consumer to bring a claim elsewhere.

Before initiating formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through written communication.

This section must be completed after the YORINA legal entity and incorporation jurisdiction are confirmed.

33. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

34. No Waiver

Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

35. Entire Agreement
